Residency Program: Yes at the affiliated Hospital

FMG-Friendly: Yes, with residents and Fellows

Rotation Fee: $2,000

Insight Hospital Medical Center and St. Bernard Hospital serve a highly diverse patient population, including Caucasian, Black, Hispanic, Asian, Indigenous, and inner-city communities. Students gain exposure to a wide variety of clinical pathologies, advanced diagnostics, and state-of-the-art treatment approaches, providing a rich and comprehensive USCE experience.

At the completion of the 4-week rotation, students may request a performance-based Letter of Recommendation (LOR) on official hospital letterhead.

LOR Type: Hospital letterhead. Given by the Chairman of Family Medicine & Family Practice Associate Program Director. LOR will be based on performance/sincerity and attendance.

  • 50% refund available if the rotation is cancelled more than 4 weeks before the start date.
  • No refund for cancellations within 4 weeks of the start date.
