  • Program Overview

The primary project will involve a Global Burden of Disease (GBD) database study in the field of Internal Medicine and its subspecialties. The goal is to guide students through the complete research process, from project understanding to abstract preparation and manuscript development.

  • Weekly Learning & Tasks: One lecture every weekend (1/2 to 1 hour) covering research methodology, manuscript writing, abstract preparation. After each lecture, specific tasks related to the research project. Students have one week to complete assigned work (1-2 hours/week).
  • Weekly Review: Completed tasks reviewed/discussed in next session; next set of tasks assigned.
  • Timely Completion: Students expected to complete tasks on time to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Manuscript Submission: Once project completed, mentor handles manuscript preparation and journal submission.
  • Conference Submission: Students may submit work to conferences for presentation; mentor provides guidance.
  • Recordings: Lecture recordings for detailed manuscript writing – review at your leisure.
  • Dedicated WhatsApp group with mentor where all questions answered & useful research resources shared.

  • No refund for cancellations within 4 weeks of the start date.
