Inpatient and Hands-on (Hands on full active participation with Inpatient rounds & EMR @ Jackson Park Hospital X 2 weeks + Virtual rounding with physician @ St. Bernard Hospital X 2weeks). LOR will mention 4 weeks Hospital, In-patient rotation with Chairman of Cardiology.
Cardiology Rounds: Medical Floors, ICU, CCU daily – Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.(roughly). 4-5 students per batch.
Hospital Rotation: Inpatient and Hands-on (Hands on full active participation with Inpatient rounds & EMR @ Jackson Park Hospital X 2 weeks + Virtual rounding with physician @ St. Bernard Hospital X 2weeks). LOR will mention 4 weeks Hospital, In-patient rotation.
Weekend Option: Saturday/Sunday rounding available (not mandatory)
Outpatient Clinics: 1-2 times per week (approx. 4 hours each)
LOR Type: Personalized letter from the Chairman of Cardiology Department. Individualized LOR based on performance/sincerity & attendance.
Physician Affiliation: Head of Cardiology Department & Teaching Faculty at JPH Hospital Medical Centre & St. Bernard Hospital and Medical Centre
Cardiology Training: Cardiac and IM patients, EKG assessments, observe ECHOs and Stress Tests.
Residency Program: Yes at the Hospital in FP
FMG-Friendly: Yes, with residents and Fellows

Accommodation: $850 (double) – $1250 (single) – 2 locations one which is just just to the hospital and the other one is 10 to 15 minute walking distance from the hospital.

This is a unique learning experience for medical graduates who are committed to becoming effective, successful residents. You will see an array of patients with various disorders and learn their Rx and Mx. The hospital and clinic initiatives are designed to prepare foreign medical graduates (IMGs) for the USCSE by providing them with hands-on clinical experience. You will learn the United States Health Care system under the supervision of a teaching attending physician.
At the end of your 4-week rotation, the rotating student may request a performance-based Letter of Recommendation (LOR) with Attending’s Faculty, designations.
