As part of the pathology team, students will:

  • Learn to evaluate and interpret hematology samples and peripheral smears
  • Gain experience in histopathology slide analysis
  • Observe and participate in frozen section analysis from the operating room
  • Attend autopsy and forensics procedures when available
  • Work directly under the supervision of the Director & Chief of Pathology

This rotation provides a unique hands-on pathology experience for medical graduates committed to becoming effective residents. It is designed to prepare international medical graduates (IMGs) for the US clinical environment through real pathology exposure under the supervision of the Director & Chief of Pathology.

  • Letter of Recommendation – Dual LOR Advantage

At the end of the 4-week rotation, students may request a performance-based Letter of Recommendation (LOR) on official hospital letterhead.

LOR Type: Hospital letterhead, Director & Chairman of Pathology. LOR will be based on performance/sincerity and attendance.

  • You can book your rotation before 2 months of rotation start date by paying $350 deposit which will be counted towards your total rotation fees. If cancelled, it is nonrefundable.
  • ⁠Full rotation fee payment is due 2 months before the rotation start date.
  • You can also pay the entire rotation fee at the start without putting a deposit down.
  • ⁠50% if the total fees paid will be refunded if rotation is canceled before 4 weeks of the start date.
  • No refunds after that (within 4 weeks of start date).

Histopathology: Daily slide analysis of hospital cases.
