Outpatient Clinics: 1-2 times per week (approx. 4 hours each)

LOR Type: Hospital letterhead, Chief of Internal Medicine & Director of ICU and Critical Care. Individualized LOR based on performance/sincerity & attendance.

Physician Affiliation: Professor of Medicine & Faculty at JPH; Chairman Pulmonary & Critical Care, Chicago.

Residency Program: Yes at the Hospital

FMG-Friendly: Yes, with residents and Fellows

This rotation offers a unique clinical learning experience for medical graduates committed to becoming effective residents. It prepares international medical graduates (IMGs) for the US clinical environment through supervised, hands-on experience. You will train under a teaching attending physician and function as a clinical learner.

At the end of the 4-week rotation, students may request a performance-based Letter of Recommendation (LOR) on official hospital letterhead.

LOR Type: Hospital letterhead, Chief of Internal Medicine. Individualized LOR will be given based on performance/sincerity and attendance.

  • No refund for cancellations within 4 weeks of the start date.
