  • Anesthesia Experience Overview
The anesthesia experience will involve rotating at the hospital of the Chief of Anesthesia. The experience includes daily rounds with the attending physician on the floor and performing preoperative rounds and assessments. In addition, the student will go to the operating room to observe anesthesia practice and procedures.

  • Students will learn intraoperative patient management from an anesthesia perspective.
  • Students will also follow patients during the recovery phase in the recovery room.
  • EMR notes practice is included as part of the rotation.

This rotation provides a unique, 100% Inpatients hands-on clinical learning opportunity for medical graduates dedicated to becoming strong, effective residents. It is specifically designed to prepare international medical graduates (IMGs) for the US clinical environment. Students function as clinical learners under the supervision of a teaching attending physician.

  • Letter of Recommendation

At the end of the 4-week rotation, students may request a performance-based Letter of Recommendation (LOR) on official hospital letterhead.

LOR Type: Hospital letterhead, Chairman. LOR will be based on performance/sincerity and attendance.

  • Payment & Refund Policy
  • You can book your rotation before 2 months of rotation start date by paying $350 deposit which will be counted towards your total rotation fees. If cancelled, it is nonrefundable.
  • ⁠Full rotation fee payment is due 2 months before the rotation start date.
  • You can also pay the entire rotation fee at the start without putting a deposit down.
  • ⁠50% if the total fees paid will be refunded if rotation is canceled before 4 weeks of the start date.
  • No refunds after that (within 4 weeks of start date).
