Rotation Setting: 100% Inpatient / ER

Max Students: 3-4 per rotation

Silver Cross Hospital: 10 hours each day for 2 days

Midwestern University: 6 hours in-person

Remote/Tele ER Sessions: Rush Hospital, Cook County Hospital, Insight Hospital (in-person when attending gets shift)

Total Experience: Roughly 30-40 hours per week of experience and teaching

Shifts: 8-12 hours, two weekend shifts required

LOR Type: Personalized LOR (e-SLOE) on Silver Cross, Cook County, Rush, or Insight Hospital letterhead. Performance, sincerity, dedication based.

Physician Affiliation: Attending Physician at multiple hospitals; Associate Program Director of ER Residency at Insight Hospital Medical Center.

Residency Program: Yes at affiliated hospitals

FMG-Friendly: Yes, with residents and Fellows

Rotation Fee: $2,250

Included: Application, Malpractice, HIPAA/Credentialing fees

 

Attending Physician ER Room at Silver Cross Hospital, Rush University Hospital, Cook County Hospital, Insight Hospital Medical Center.

Associate Program Director of the ER Residency Program at Insight Hospital Medical Center.

Note: Most of these locations have ER residency programs.

  • 50% refund available if the rotation is cancelled more than 4 weeks before the start date.
  • No refund for cancellations within 4 weeks of the start date.
