If students are interested, they can do Saturday hours as well.\n    <\/p>\n    <p>\n        Times are subject to change as per the attending\u2019s schedule. Outpatient clinics 1-2 times a week for roughly 4 hours. In addition to hematology\/oncology patients sometimes students will be asked to see and manage Internal Medicine patients as well. Students during rotation will interact with Residents and residency program staff and faculty in addition to Nurses to facilitate the Rx for the patients on the floor.\n    <\/p>\n    <p>\n        Observing Chemotherapy infusions at the infusion center at the Insight hospital medical center.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h4>Student Responsibilities<\/h4>\n    <p>\n        Students may also be required to attend didactics, lectures, and grand rounds. While participating as a member of the team, you will learn to interact with diverse patients and perform detailed history taking and physical examination, check labs and notes on the patient. Formulate a differential diagnosis and an assessment and treatment plan for each patient under the attending physician\u2019s supervision and guidance. The students will follow up on all patients under their care every day. They will also participate in discharge planning and execution.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h4>Learning Experience<\/h4>\n    <p>\n        This is a unique learning experience for medical graduates who are committed to becoming effective, successful residents. This clinical initiative is designed to prepare foreign medical graduates (IMGs) for the US clinical environment by providing them with hands-on clinical experience. You will have the experience as a clinical learner under the supervision of a teaching attending physician.
