\n\t\t\t\t\t\tYou will see Pediatric patients with day-to-day problems, and make sure their\nvaccinations, milestones, growth, and development are UpToDate.\nRotation Schedule:\n

  1. Monday to Friday - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a lunch break in between.<\/li>\n
  2. Saturdays - Students can do once a month if they would like extra\nexperience.<\/li>\n
  3. Times are subject to change as per the attending\u2019s schedule.<\/li>\n
  4. Students may also be required to attend didactics, lectures, and grand\nrounds. The attending physicians will inform the students of the schedule at the beginning of the rotation.<\/li>\n
  5. Fully Hands-on rotation with access to EMR and Note writing and documentation under the physician\u2019s guidance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \nYou will see an array of patients with various disorders and learn their Rx and\nMx. Learn the EMR system of the clinic and notes input into the EMR. The\nclinic initiatives are designed to prepare foreign medical graduates (IMGs) for\nthe USCSE by providing them with hands-on clinical experience. You will\nlearn the United States Health Care system under the supervision of a\nteaching attending physician. At the end of your 4-week rotation, the rotating\nstudent may request a performance-based letter of recommendation on\nHospital letterhead. While participating as a member of the team, you will\nlearn to interact with diverse patients and perform detailed history taking\nand physical examination, check labs and notes on the patient. Formulate a\ndifferential diagnosis and execute an Rx plan for each patient under the\nattending physician\u2019s supervision and guidance. Students will also participate\nin discharge planning and execution.
