Rotation\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-icon-box-description\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tHospital rounds all days of the week at Tomball Community Hospital. Timings\nare roughly 9 a.m. to 2-3 p.m. Hospital rounds will be both in IM and Peds. The\nstudents will be given the schedule at the start of the rotation. You may also\nbe asked to attend clinic in the hospital or community in sessions of 2-3 hours\na few times a week both in IM and Pediatrics. The experience will be\nenriching. If students are interested, they can do Saturday hours as well.\nTimes are subject to change as per the attending\u2019s schedule. You may round\non the General Medical Floor, ICU, CCU, or wherever the patients might be.\n<br><br>\nWhile participating as a member of the team, you will learn to interact with\ndiverse patients and perform detailed history taking and physical\nexamination, check labs and notes on the patient. Formulate a differential\ndiagnosis and an assessment and treatment plan for each patient under the\nattending physician\u2019s supervision and guidance. The students will follow up\n\non all patients under their care every day. They will also participate in\ndischarge planning and execution.\n<br><br>\nThis is a unique learning experience for medical graduates who are\ncommitted to becoming effective, successful residents. This clinical initiative\nis designed to prepare foreign medical graduates (IMGs) for the US clinical\nenvironment by providing them with hands-on clinical experience. You will\nhave the experience as a clinical learner under the supervision of a teaching\nattending physician.
