Clinic/Rounding Days: Monday to Friday; timing decided by the attending physician
Weekend Requirement: Attending physician may call upon student for rounds
Academic Activities: Didactics, lectures, grand rounds as required

As with other rotations — direct patient interaction, documentation, and participation in daily clinical workflows.
As with other rotations — supervised, hands-on clinical experience under a teaching attending physician.
At the completion of the 4-week rotation, students may request a performance-based Letter of Recommendation on the official hospital letterhead of Cook County Hospital, Silver Cross Hospital, Rush University Medical Center, or Insight Hospital Medical Center. The attending physician is a Senior Attending Physician at all these hospitals and also serves as Associate Program Director at Insight Hospital Medical Center.
