  • Clinical Responsibilities

Students will gain hands-on experience in psychiatric patient care, including:

  • Outpatient Clinics: Managing psychiatric patients in clinic settings – the student will see 20–30 psychiatry patients every day and will be involved in taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, and establishing assessment plans.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with residents, nurses, faculty, and subspecialties to coordinate patient care. They will discuss cases with the attending physician and gain exposure to psychiatry and psychological counseling for patients.

This exposure ensures a comprehensive understanding of hospital workflows and team-based care in psychiatry.

This rotation is designed for medical graduates aiming to become competent and effective residents. Key benefits include:

This rotation provides a practical, immersive experience that builds clinical skills, teamwork, and confidence—essential for residency training.

At the conclusion of the 4-week rotation, students may request a performance-based Letter of Recommendation (LOR) on hospital letterhead.

At the end of the 4-week rotation, students may request a performance-based Letter of Recommendation (LOR) on official hospital letterhead.

LOR Type: Institution/Clinic letterhead. LOR will be based on performance/sincerity and attendance.

  • Payment & Refund Policy
  • You can book your rotation before 2 months of rotation start date by paying $350 deposit which will be counted towards your total rotation fees. If cancelled, it is nonrefundable.
  • ⁠Full rotation fee payment is due 2 months before the rotation start date.
  • You can also pay the entire rotation fee at the start without putting a deposit down.
  • ⁠50% if the total fees paid will be refunded if rotation is canceled before 4 weeks of the start date.
  • No refunds after that (within 4 weeks of start date).

Key Skills: History taking, physical examinations, assessment plans, case discussions, and psychological counseling.
