  • Rotation Overview
This rotation provides exposure to both diagnostic and interventional radiology, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in:
  • Diagnostic Radiology
  • Assessment and interpretation of X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other imaging modalities
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Procedures for peripheral vascular arterial diseases, including stenting and dilatations
  • Central access, catheter placements, and arterial embolization
  • Learning Opportunities
As part of the radiology team, students will:
  • Supervised training under attending radiologists
  • Exposure to both diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures
  • Opportunity to pursue research in radiology by consulting with mentors
  • Develop practical skills in patient assessment, imaging interpretation, and interventional techniques
  • Letter of Recommendation

At the end of the 4-week rotation, students may request a performance-based Letter of Recommendation (LOR) on official centre/institution letterhead.

LOR Type: Centre/Institution letterhead. LOR will be based on performance/sincerity and attendance.

  • You can book your rotation before 2 months of rotation start date by paying $350 deposit which will be counted towards your total rotation fees. If cancelled, it is nonrefundable.
  • ⁠Full rotation fee payment is due 2 months before the rotation start date.
  • You can also pay the entire rotation fee at the start without putting a deposit down.
  • ⁠50% if the total fees paid will be refunded if rotation is canceled before 4 weeks of the start date.
  • No refunds after that (within 4 weeks of start date).

Chief Interventional Radiology from Yale University Hospital and Medical Center provides direct mentorship.

Interventional Procedures: Peripheral vascular stenting, dilatations, central access, catheter placements, arterial embolization.
