  • Rotation Overview

This rotation offers hands-on exposure to diagnostic and interventional radiology, including:

  • Diagnostic Radiology
  • Assessment and interpretation of X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other imaging modalities
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Procedures for peripheral vascular arterial diseases, including stenting and dilatations
  • Central access, catheter placements, and arterial embolization
  • Learning Opportunities
  • Work under the supervision of attending radiologists
  • Gain experience in both diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures
  • Opportunity to engage in radiology research by consulting mentors
  • Build practical skills in patient assessment, imaging interpretation, and procedural management
  • Letter of Recommendation

At the end of the 4-week rotation, students may request a performance-based Letter of Recommendation (LOR) on official hospital letterhead.

LOR Type: Hospital letterhead, Chairman. LOR will be based on performance/sincerity and attendance.

Chief Radiation Oncologist: Direct mentorship available.

  • Payment & Refund Policy
  • You can book your rotation before 2 months of rotation start date by paying $350 deposit which will be counted towards your total rotation fees. If cancelled, it is nonrefundable.
  • ⁠Full rotation fee payment is due 2 months before the rotation start date.
  • You can also pay the entire rotation fee at the start without putting a deposit down.
  • ⁠50% if the total fees paid will be refunded if rotation is canceled before 4 weeks of the start date.
  • No refunds after that (within 4 weeks of start date).

Chief Radiation Oncologist: Direct mentorship from department chief.

Interventional Procedures: Peripheral vascular stenting, dilatations, central access, catheter placements, arterial embolization.

Research: Opportunities available with mentors.

Therapeutic Radiology: Exposure to radiation oncology principles.
