Starting July 14th example:

July 14 – July 20: ICU/IM Dept.
July 21 – July 27: IM/Cardio Dept.
July 28 – August 3: ICU/IM Dept.
August 4 – August 10: IM/Cardio Dept.

Note: Rotation spans two different months so each attending gives a LOR for a different month (July & August) to avoid ERAS discrepancies.

As part of the clinical team, students will:

Interact with diverse patient populations
Perform detailed history taking and physical examinations
Review labs, imaging, and EMR notes
Formulate differential diagnoses
Create assessment and treatment plans under attending supervision
Follow up on assigned patients daily
Participate in discharge planning and execution
Work alongside residents, fellows, and nursing staff

This rotation provides a unique, hands-on clinical learning experience for medical graduates committed to becoming effective residents. It is specifically designed to prepare international medical graduates (IMGs) for the US clinical environment. Students function as clinical learners under the supervision of teaching attending physicians.

At the end of the 4-week rotation, students receive TWO Individualized Letters of Recommendation on official hospital letterhead from two separate attending physicians:

You can book your rotation before 2 months of rotation start date by paying $350 deposit which will be counted towards your total rotation fees. If cancelled, it is nonrefundable.
Full rotation fee payment is due 2 months before the rotation start date. · You can also pay the entire rotation fee at the start without putting a deposit down.
50% if the total fees paid will be refunded if rotation is canceled before 4 weeks of the start date.
No refunds after that (within 4 weeks of start date).

EMR Access: Students can write notes and access patient records.

Procedural Exposure: EKGs, ECHOs, Stress Testing during Cardiology weeks.

ICU & Critical Care: Significant exposure during IM/ICU weeks.

Real-time Case Discussion: Daily with attending physicians.
